Between 13 and 16 June 2022 the NATO Defence Education Enhancement Programme delegation visited Azerbaijan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The NATO DEEP was represented\u00a0by Sven B. Gareis, David D. Dworak, Valentin Vasilev, Marcus Andreopoulos and Katarzyna Kulla. During the visit, experts were familiarized with National Defence University and the institutional changes that were done. On 14 June a scoping visit to International Counter-Terrorism Training Center was organized, and experts had a chance to discuss the future of the institution and possibilities of cooperation in the field of distance learning. During the visit, the delegation had a chance to visit the Military Institute named after Heydar Aliyev under the National Defense University, and the Military Medical Faculty of the Azerbaijan Medical University. These meetings provide us with detailed information about the educational process and gave us a possibility to discuss issues of mutual interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The visit helped identify and meet partner needs and to find the path to future cooperation.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
