The main aim of this visit was to review the Professional Military Education (PME) system in Colombia and find possible ways of future cooperation. The NATO DEEP delegation: (1) Mr. Mariusz SOLIS \u2013 NATO DEEP Coordinator, (2) Prof. Al STOLBERG \u2013 U.S. DEEP Coordinator, DEEP Senior Academic Advisor, (3) Mr. Paul VAKY \u2013 National War College, (4) Mrs. Branka PETEK \u2013 Chairperson of BILC, (5) Mr. Darryl LONG\u00a0&#8211; Regional Program Lead at the Institute for Security Governance (U.S.), (6) Mr. Marcin JOZWIAK \u2013 DEEP eAcademy Deputy Director for Academic Affairs, During the visit, the delegation has visited the following institutions: (1) Ministry of National Defense &#8211; MOD, (2) Superior School of War &#8211; ESDEGUE, (3) Military Cadet School &#8211; ESMIC, (4) Military Aviation School, in Cali, (5)\u00a0\u00a0Naval Cadet School &#8211; ARC, in Cartagena. The main topics of the visit were: institutional adaptation, curriculum development, faculty development, language teaching system, and advanced distributed learning capabilities. As the last point of the visit, the NATO DEEP delegation summarized their findings at a joint meeting with NATO Embassies in Bogota.Want to be always up-to-date?
