The NATO DEEP eAcademy conducted the “MED CAMEL Residential Workshop 2026: Building Capacity for Military Medical English Training” from 21 to 25 September 2026 at the Military Medical Faculty at Yerevan State Medical University after M. Heratsi (YSMU) in Yerevan, Armenia. Facilitated by NATO DEEP eAcademy SMEs, the activity brought together the MED CAMEL project team from YSMU alongside prospective system end-users, including military medical students, and professional military education participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The primary objective of the workshop was to strengthen the professional capacity of the MED CAMEL team and advance programme development through structured collaboration, knowledge exchange, and strategic planning. Specialized sessions enhanced participants’ expertise in AI-assisted pedagogy, standardized item-writing methodologies, quality assurance procedures, and the application of Advanced Distributed Learning principles tailored to Military Medical English instruction. Additionally, the workshop provided a key venue to review overall project progress, refine common development standards, and establish shared priorities, timelines, and operational responsibilities for the subsequent project phase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
By reinforcing institutional cooperation and solidifying a unified methodological framework, the event supported the future establishment of a sustainable, open-source Military Medical English training solution for NATO DEEP Partner Nations.
